Before you start.

Check that all four crank protectors are present and undamaged. The protectors screw onto the frame and have protective tape on the inside.

Confirm the correct screw specification and mounting arrangement before fitting.

  • 4 × Zwift Ride drivetrain covers
  • No mounting hardware included.

Follow the steps.

  1. [ 01 / 03 ]

    Line the cover up

    Position the crank protector at its matching frame mounting points, with the protective tape facing the frame. Check the mounting arrangement before proceeding.

  2. [ 02 / 03 ]

    Screw the protector to the frame

    Secure the protector to the frame with the correct screws. Check the screw specification and mounting points before fitting; do not use a clip-on fitting method.

  3. [ 03 / 03 ]

    Check clearance

    Turn the cranks slowly by hand through a full rotation. Check that they do not contact the protectors.

    [ WARNING ]

    Do not ride if the cranks contact a protector or any protector is loose.

Complete every check before using the product.

Check that the protectors remain securely attached and the cranks move freely before riding.

Care and adjustments.

Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Check the screws and protective tape regularly. Release the screws before removing a protector; do not pull it off as a clip-on part.

Do I need tools to fit it?

Yes. The crank protectors are screwed to the frame. Confirm the screw specification before installation.

Does it replace wiping the bike down?

No. Continue to clean and maintain your Zwift Ride. The crank protectors have protective tape on the inside.

How do I clean it?

Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. If removal is needed, release the screws first; the protector is not a clip-on part.
