Information we process
We process your name, contact details, billing and delivery details, order history and customer-service correspondence. Payment providers process payment information. Our storefront also processes technical information such as IP address, browser and device information for operation and security. Optional analytics and marketing may involve browsing and preference data.
Why we use it
- Orders and service: to fulfil our contract, take payment, deliver goods and handle returns.
- Legal obligations: to maintain required tax and accounting records.
- Legitimate interests: to secure the store, prevent fraud and handle enquiries, taking account of your rights.
- Consent: for optional marketing and cookies where required. You can withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Order and delivery information is necessary to fulfil a purchase. Optional marketing choices are not a condition of purchase.
Service providers
We use Shopify to operate the store and service providers for payments, delivery and related support. Relevant information is shared as needed for those services or when required by law. Shopify also describes its processing in its privacy policy.
International processing
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers must rely on an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data.
Retention
Tax and accounting records are kept for the legally required period, generally seven years for Dutch basic accounting records. This does not mean we keep every category of customer data for seven years. Other information is kept only as needed for its purpose, applicable obligations and the establishment or defence of legal claims.

Necessary cookies support functions such as the cart, checkout and security. Optional analytics and marketing cookies require consent where applicable. You can manage optional choices through the store's cookie controls and unsubscribe from marketing through the link in an email or by contacting us.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and object to processing where applicable. Email hello@studiovelo3d.com. We normally respond within one month; where the law permits an extension, we will explain it within that month. We may need to verify your identity.
Security and complaints
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. You may complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority or your local supervisory authority.
